Oil India sees restart of Mozambique LNG project by year's end

Oil India Ltd expects the $20-billion Mozambique LNG project, operated by TotalEnergies and halted in 2021 after insurgent attacks, to restart by late 2025 as security improves. Indian state firms hold a 30% stake. Chairman Ranjit Rath also highlighted $942 million in dividends from Russian assets, recovering 91% of its investment in Vankorneft and Taas-Yuryakh.
